INCLUSIVE HEALTH SERVICES

UPHLS is advocating for inclusive health services in collaboration with its key partners by translating into the practical models of disability-friendly services in health service provision.

TRAINING OF HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS

Empowering health care providers by strengthening their capacities on disability knowledge aiming at giving friendly services to PWDs in Rwanda. UPHLS has trained medical professionals in inclusive training and sign language to further their ability to aid persons with disabilities.

UPGRADE OF HEALTH FACILITIES

Promote the upgrading of health centers in all Districts of Rwanda, through multi-stakeholder partnerships to achieve inclusive and accessible health services for all categories of PWDs in Rwanda.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT

UPHLS collaborates with central and local levels to provide technical support aiming at mainstream disability in the health care system.
